The World cup is fast approaching and looking forward to all the excitement, thrills and spills.

Am slightly torn where allegiance is concerned since both Ghana and England have ended up in the group which will be a tough one with some fantastic players on display. Am still trying to understand the decision to leave out Cole Palmer who for me is a game changer. Ghana have and energic and athletic squad with lots of inform players that play in some of the top leagues around Europe including Kudus and Semenya who can hurt any opponent with their dazzling trickery. On the bright side, there is a 50% chance of one of my favoured teams progressing through the group stages. Failing this there is always everyone's favourite team to support as a neutral .....Brazil of course!! Although there is an argument they no longer produce the beautiful Jinga style of football from days of old whereby the Brazilian teams were bursting with entertaining talent including the likes of Pele, Socrates, Junior, Dunga, Romario, Roberto Carlos, Rivaldo, Ronaldo R9, Josimar, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldhino, and more recently Neymar Jnr. The list goes on and on! Now it's left to Vinicius Jnr to carry the can and the hopes of a whole nation. Anyway, you get my drift. This year is exciting as ever with so many teams able to beat each other on their day! Then there is always the usual favourites who rarely disappoint in terms of progressing and providing tension in the later stages.....France, Germany, Spain, Argentina. Really can't wait!
